No. Fyne AI is built into FyneDesk for support work. MCP connects external assistants to specific FyneDesk tools when your workspace allows it.

Control stays with FyneDesk
MCP is another way to use supported FyneDesk tools, not a second set of permissions or an unrestricted export of your workspace.
Your access follows you
Record visibility, role-based permissions, ownership, and normal workflow rules still apply to the signed-in user.
Your workspace sets the ceiling
Admins enable MCP and approve clients. Pro includes supported read access; Business can enable supported write access for eligible users.
Actions are bounded
Only exposed tools can run. Protected operations such as bulk export and customer messaging are not opened up simply by connecting an assistant.
Connections can be revoked
Each user approves their own connection and can revoke FyneDesk access later. Removing access does not have to uninstall the client-side plugin.
Common questions
Does an assistant see everything in my organization?
No. The signed-in user's permissions and record visibility still apply, and only supported MCP tools are available. The assistant cannot bypass FyneDesk's workspace policy.
Which plan do I need?
Pro includes supported read access. Business adds supported write access for users an admin enables, subject to their normal permissions. Free does not include ongoing MCP access after a trial ends.
