Jira FyneDesk

Support and engineering, connected

FyneDesk for Jira

Loop engineering in without the back and forth. Turn a support ticket into a Jira issue in one click, link issues that already exist, and watch the status change right on the ticket.

Live on Pro and Business. Jira Data Center support is coming soon.

What you can do

Connect Jira Cloud in minutes

An admin connects Jira once through Atlassian OAuth. Each workspace keeps its own isolated connection, and you can disconnect at any time.

Create or link Jira work

Turn a ticket into a Jira issue with its context and a link back to FyneDesk, or search for work that already exists. One ticket can follow several issues, and one issue can serve several tickets.

See live status on the ticket

The Jira issue key and current status stay visible in FyneDesk, with a direct path to the engineering record.

Reopen every affected ticket

When Jira moves an issue to a completed status, every linked ticket can reopen automatically so support knows exactly who needs an update.

Keep the customer boundary clear

Jira comments arrive as internal notes. Agents can send a separate note back to engineering, while customer replies remain inside FyneDesk.

Know the sync is healthy

See the last processed update, pending and failed events, and Jira webhook health. Automatic renewal and a regular reconciliation check recover updates a webhook may miss.

Connect Jira Data Center

Coming soon

Self hosted Jira support and its additional governance controls are planned, but are not part of the live cloud integration today.

A closed support loop

Engineering moves the work. Support keeps the customer informed.

  1. 1

    Create or link

Connect the support ticket to new or existing Jira work without leaving FyneDesk.

  2. 2

    Engineering works in Jira

Developers keep their normal Jira workflow while support stays in FyneDesk.

  3. 3

    Updates flow back

Status changes and engineering comments return to every linked ticket.

  4. 4

    The ticket reopens

Completed work reopens the affected tickets so support can follow up with each customer.

Full setup guide coming soon.

Who it is for

Support teams with Jira engineers

Give support a direct path into the system engineering already uses, without moving either team into another queue.

Teams seeing the same bug repeatedly

Link every affected ticket to one Jira issue and keep the full customer list ready when the fix ships.

Teams that promise to follow up

Replace manual status checks with a visible engineering record and a clear signal when it is time to reply.

Privacy and trust

You approve the connection. You stay in control.

An admin connects Jira from inside FyneDesk. Access is encrypted, each organization is isolated to its own Jira connection, and internal engineering comments never reach customers unless an agent chooses to share them. Disconnect anytime.

Frequently asked

What plan do I need?

The live Jira Cloud integration is available on Pro and included with Business. Jira Data Center support is coming soon.

Can several tickets link to one Jira issue?

Yes. Support can connect every report of the same problem to one engineering issue. When the issue is completed, every linked ticket can reopen for customer follow up.

Can customers see private Jira comments?

No. Jira comments arrive as internal notes. Agents can reply to engineering in a separate internal thread, and customer replies never post to Jira.

What happens if a webhook misses an update?

FyneDesk regularly reconciles linked Jira issues and automatically renews Jira webhooks. The connection page also shows pending events, failures, and the last processed update.
